The Bakersfield College Beach Volleyball team (4-3) beat Cypress College 3-2 in Santa Monica Friday. 

The match marked BC's first "close call" since February 24th, when they beat Santa Barbara 3-2. Their last four matches have been lopsided; two 4-1 losses to Pierce and San Diego Mesa, a 4-1 win over San Diego City, and a 5-1 Exhibition loss to NCAA Division 1 CSU Bakersfield.
