A day after opening Western State Conference-South action, Citrus College took the field for a non-conference game against East Los Angeles College but fell 6-3.
The Owls slip to 5-3 on the year, while the Huskies improve to 3-8 overall.
Citrus finished with 10 hits in the game, led by Marissa Ramirez going 3-for-4 at the plate with one run and two RBIs. Jillian Walker went 2-for-2 with an RBI, while Leah Morales, Jasani Zavalza, Desiree Loza, Alexis Cordero, and Paige Horvat also had hits in the game.
