(Walnut, CA) CCCAA State No.5-ranked El Camino College, with its 13th sweep of the season, defeated the Mt. SAC Women's Volleyball Team, 3-0 in a South Coast Conference crossover match Friday night October 26.

The Warriors, who lead the SCC North, won 25-19, 25-15, 25-9.

Mt. SAC coach Ali Carey-Oliver honored her six sophomores and three freshmen, who will be moving on next season.

Finishing two seasons at Mt. SAC was: setter Brianda Valdez, libero Malia Carr, opposite/setter Kierra Coatney, middle blocker Lindsey Lane, outside hitter Alysha Tullar and outside hitter/middle blocker Shaianne Palos.

In the match Palos led (2 digs) with five kills, with Tullar (Service ace, 3 digs, block assist) and Lane adding four kills each.

Coatney (1 K) led the team with 10 assists and 10 digs, while Carr had nine digs.

The Mounties will continue with SCC North action on Wednesday October 31 at Rio Hondo at 6:00 pm.
