Tiger Baseball Over Santa Barbara 8-4

When the Reedley College baseball Tigers need a victory in 2018, they call on sophomore ace pitcher Evan Sagariballa.

The right hander from Kerman improved to 3-0 on the young season by working seven innings in the Tigers' 8-4 victory over Santa Barbara City College. Sid Lacy retired all six batters that he faced to record the save.

Reedley broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning on a fielders choice and an error as both Kevin Page and Mitchell Crawford scored.

Page drove in two runs for the winners while leadoff hitter Blake Hernandez and Josh Mares scored twice. Both Cooper Morrison and Mares had two hits each to lead Reedley's eight-hit attack.

Reedley (3-4) next travels to Fremont for a 2pm Thursday contest with the Ohlone College Renegades. Ohlone takes a 4-1 record into the matchup. That's the best early season record in the Coast Pacific Conference.
