SBCC rallied to win three singles matches on Tuesday and went on to down Glendale 7-2 in a women's tennis match at Pershing Park.

Joica Buyse and Anya Nicolaides dropped the first set at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, then won their last two sets in convincing fashion. At No. 5, Jule Lauinger was down 4-1 in the first, then reeled off five straight games to win 6-4. She also beat Jennifer Goldsbury in the second set, 6-4.

Victoria Dafos and Maddie Mitchell swept their matches at Nos. 4 and 6 by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores to secure the victory.

The Vaqueros (13-2, 11-0 WSC) won their third straight WSC match and are closing in on their first conference title since the 2001 squad won the WSC crown and the state championship.
