Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano baseball team dropped a mid-week contest to Santa Rosa, 13-4, on Thursday afternoon.

Freshman Herbie Lane recorded the lone extra-base hit for the Falcons with a double, adding a RBI, in his two-hit performance. Sophomore Brandon Herter also earned a multi-hit game.

Sophomore Edgar Aqui-Cruz (2-2) was charged with the loss, throwing six complete and allowing three earned runs on seven hits while fanning seven.

Solano (2-6) heads on the road to face Skyline on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.
