Women's Volleyball is perfect in conference after surviving a thriller against LA Mission.

The Corsairs started well with a 25-20 win in the first set with a total of 13 kills and only 4 errors. The Eagles recovered in the second set, to win 25-17. The third set was taken by SMC, with the same score as the first set, and the rollercoaster continued when LA Mission won the fourth set 25-19. The fifth and decisive set was all about the Corsairs as they managed to finish strong with a 15 to 12 win.

The team benefited from an outstanding offensive game by Amaya Bernardo (11 kills), and Mackenzie Wolff (13 kills). In addition, the team had a fantastic defensive match with 67 digs overall.

The Corsairs are now 2-0 in conference (6-3 overall), and will have their next match at home, against Moorpark College, Friday, September 23rd, at 6 pm.
