Cabrillo men’s soccer team posts second rout | Santa Cruz Sentinel

Freshman Alejandro Zambrano scored twice and the offensive-minded Cabrillo College men's soccer team posted its second straight rout, 7-0 over visiting Allan Hancock on Tuesday.

Sophomore Tanner Ruddy had a goal and three assists. Ventura Garcia, Thomas Bugnet, Oscar Esqueda and Matteo Vari also scored.

Francisco Ruiz had two assists and Jackson Henderson and Maxence Huin each had one assist.

Seahawks goalie Carlos Salazar and Edrick Angel split time and made a combined seven saves.

Cabrillo (2-0) thumped Redwoods 8-2 in their opener Friday.

The Seahawks play at American River (2-1) in Sacramento on Friday at 6 p.m.
