Bobcats zap the Hornets in three

The Saddleback women's volleyball team picked up its first Orange Empire Conference win with a 3-0 victory over Fullerton College on Friday night inside the gymnasium.  The Bobcats are now 8-1 overall.

Saddleback was coming back from its first defeat of the season earlier in the week and some wondered how they would respond to adversity.  The Bobcats looked at the top of their game in recording a 25-20, 25-20, 25-20 win against the Hornets.

Sydney Brown had 18 kills and Jolie Robinson (pictured) had 15 as Fullerton had no answers for the Saddleback offense.  The defense was also solid as Haley Jones finished with a team-high 16 digs and Logan Daniels had 13.  Lilyann Horner led the team with six service aces.

Saddleback is now 8-1 overall and 1-1 in Orange Empire Conference play.  The Bobcats will travel to Santa Ana College (6:00 PM) this Wednesday before returning home to host Santiago Canyon College on Friday (6:00 PM).
