Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano women's soccer team won its fourth straight match with a 2-1 victory over Merritt on Friday afternoon.

After a first half goal by Merritt, freshman Jordyn Bennett scored in the 56th minute off of a feed from sophomore Grace Lee. Freshman Keana Flynn scored her 14th goal on the season, 11th in Bay Valley Conference play, and the go-ahead score in the 80th minute off an assist by freshman Amber Ayala.

Reigning Solano Athletics October Athlete of the month, sophomore Kirstyn Gotschall played the entire match in the goal.

The Falcons (12-5-3, 11-1-1) close out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 15, hosting Napa Valley in a in a makeup match at 3 p.m.
