In the final PCAC North women's volleyball match the Spartans played College of the Desert to a close five game match but didn't have enough to overcome an excited Roadrunner team.  Despite the loss MiraCosta still has earned the 2018 PCAC Conference Championship with a 9-1 record in conference and a 19-3 overall. 

In the match the Spartans had Halie Hess, Hayley Torres and Shannon Evans all finish with 13 kills. Kacy Hele contributed 46 assists and eight digs.  Libero Hanley Lomax anchored the defense with 22 digs. Lomax got support from Leigha Malecha (seven blocks), Shannon Evans (five blocks) and Maddy Letterman (four blocks.)

The Spartans continue their season with the North/South crossover matches beginning on November 7th when they will host San Diego City College at 5:30PM.
