Compton, Calif. – Sophomore Marceya Vernardo led the Tartars in pointed earned, scoring 12 against La Harbor but the Tartars still fell 50-60 on Wednesday night. Vernardo also posted up four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.

Sophomore Niea Ulmer achieved a double-double posting up 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Andranae Powns led the team in rebounds collecting 14 total.

The Tartars were also seen wearing purple long sleeves for colon cancer awareness, which has affected the Tartar family for its annual Coaches vs. Cancer game.

The Tartars play again at home on Friday, February 7 against the El Camino Warriors with a 5 p.m. tip off.
