Falcons' rally comes up just short, 5-4
Playing under the lights at Falcon Diamond on Friday night, the Falcons fell behind early after giving up five runs (only 2 earned) in the first two innings. The bats awoke in the later innings, but came up just short when they left the potential tying run on second base to end the game at 5-4 after scoring three runs in the seventh inning. Leading hitters for the Falcons were sophomore Maddy Larson (2 for 4, double) and sophomore Emma Gaytan (2 for 3, triple).
