(Whittier CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Volleyball Team, led by outside hitter Jessica Morse 12 kills, swept the Rio Hondo Roadrunners 3-0 in a South Coast Conference North match Wednesday night October 31.

The Mounties won 25-23, 25-19, 25-18 and improved to 9-13 overall and 2-3 in conference.

Outside hitter Alysha Tullar (4 Digs, 1 Ace, 1 Assist) and middle blocker Shaianne Palos had eight and seven kills, respectively for the Mounties.

Setter Brianda Valdez (4 Digs) led with 20 assists and libero Malia Carr had 16 digs.

The Mounties totaled 39 kills in the match.

Mt. SAC will continue conference action at Pasadena City College on Friday November 2. Game time is 6:00 pm.
