Women’s Tennis: Roadrunners back on track with win at SDCC

Rio Hondo College bounced back from a tough defeat last week to score a 6-3 non-conference win at San Diego City College on Tuesday. The Roadrunners improved their overall record to 6-2.

Rio Hondo was able to pull out the victory despite dropping their top three singles matches. Raquel Rice, Cindy Lau, and Roxy Valverde came through at the bottom of the ladder while all three Rio Hondo doubles teams picked up win. The biggest came at No. 1 with Jane Quach and Jackie Azepeitia teaming to defeat Josah Corpuz and Marilyn Kathka of SDCC by a score of 8-5.
