BC BASEBALL ERASES FOUR RUN DEFICIT TO GET WIN IN EXTRA INNINGS

The Renegades (5-5) spotted El Camino four runs before clawing back to get win, 5-4, in eleven innings.  El Camino scored four times in their first three at bats to take a 4-0 lead, but BC scored one in the 3rd, one in the 5th and two in the 6th inning to tie the game.  After the 6th inning the teams went scoreless until the bottom of the 11th when Isaac Ramos singled to score Ryan Darbee for the game winning run.  Joey Salinas (2.1 innings) and Nathan Ortiz (6 innings) combined for 8.1 innings of scoreless relief.  Nathan Ortiz got the win, his first of the season.  A the plate,  Brycin Hernandez was 2-4 with two runs scored, Trey Harmon and Isaac Ramos both went 1-4 for at the plate with an RBI each.  Hector Ruvalcaba was 3-4 and Jacob Sanchez had the other RBI for the Renegades.

The baseball team is on the road this week.  They will play one game at Moorpark on Tuesday at 2:00 PM and then will play a three game series at Golden West on Thursday (2 PM), Friday (2 PM) and Saturday (12 Noon).
