COACHES CORNER GROSSONT COLLEGE: JAGS win!!
The JAGS beat Grossmont College 10 – 3 with a monster defensive effort.
OFFENSE: On offense in the final drive of the game the JAGS possession we drove the length of the field to hit a TD pass… Stevie Orr, freshman to sophomore Christian Jourdain
DEFENSE: The JAG defense once again held our opponent for under double digits. The key player was Arnold Escano making the big play deflecting.
Sophomore punter Justin McElligott (Granite Hills HS) had a big night with a punt that flipped field position on the opening quarter of the game. HE controlled field position throughout the game.
Freshmen placement kicker Asher Booth (Torrey Pines HS) hit a 52 yard field goal just prior to the half time.
