COD Women’s Tennis opens 2022 season, falls to Warriors, 5-2

COD (0-1) returned to the court for the first time in 707 days, falling on the road to the El Camino Warriors of Torrance (4-0), 5-2.

Ironically, the last match for the Roadrunners was at home against El Camino on March 5, 2020. The match was played at Cerritos College in Norwalk due to court maintenance at the Warriors home courts in Torrance.

The Roadrunners will continue Inland Empire Athletic Conference play by hosting the Rio Hondo Roadrunners (2-1-1; 1-0) on Thursday, February 17 at 2p.

El Camino College defeated College of the Desert, 5-2 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play at Cerritos College in Norwalk.
