Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Shelby Nichols netted the game-tying goal in the final minute to lead the Falcons to a 1-1 draw with Ohlone on Tuesday afternoon.

The Renegades took the early lead in the 26th minute and looked to hold on before freshman Karla Cardinal fed Nichols to stifle the lead.

Freshman Kirstyn Gottschall tallied eight saves in the goal for the Falcons.

The women's soccer team (0-2-1) remains home, hosting Folsom Lake on Friday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m.
