CCSF continues offensive show with 5-0 win over Lake Tahoe

City College of San Francisco posted its third straight shutout while the offense flexed its muscles again in an impressive 5-0 win over visiting Lake Tahoe Community College on Wednesday.

CCSF has outscored its opponents by a 22-2 margin this season and thanks to its hot start are ranked No. 13 in this week's California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA) state poll.

On Wednesday, Maleah Evans scored two goals and added an assist to help lead the Rams to their fourth straight victory. Her goal in the seventh minute gave CCSF an early 1-0 lead while her goal in the 65th put the Rams ahead 4-0.

Iliana Sanchez, Gabriella Rodil, and Leslie Murillo also tallied goals for the Rams. Murillo was credited with two assists while Kaila Calma also had one assist.

Alexia Estrada totaled three saves for the shutout.

CCSF returns to action on Friday (Sep. 17) when the Rams host Feather River College in a 4:30 p.m. non-conference game.
