The City College of San Francisco women's badminton season will continue on for one final event.

Following an impressive showing at the Coast Conference Championships, the Rams' doubles team of freshmen Carolyn Nguyen and Kayla Mann have qualified for the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) State Championships at San Diego City College, taking place on May 11-13.

Singles and doubles competition gets underway on Friday with championship matches being played on Saturday.

Nguyen nearly advanced to state in singles competition. She was the No. 2 seed but suffered a loss to eventual conference champion Madison Moe of De Anza College to end her individual season.

As a team, the Rams recently wrapped up the 2023 regular season with a 4-5 overall and Coast Conference record to finish in fourth place out of six teams.
