Rams edged 1-0 by Lake Tahoe

It's been feast or famine for the City College of San Francisco men's soccer team early this season. In four games, the Rams have posted two shutouts and have twice been held scoreless. On Tuesday, CCSF suffered a 1-0 loss to visiting Lake Tahoe Community College.

The defeat dropped the Rams to 2-2 overall this season.

Tuesday contest was a close battle for both teams and remained scoreless until Lake Tahoe finally got on the board in the 75th minute. Nicholas Sanchez beat CCSF goalkeeper Isaac Alvarez for what proved to the game-winner.

Alvarez totaled three saves in goal for the Rams.

San Francisco returns to action on Friday (Sep. 17) when the Rams host Feather River College in a 2 p.m. non-conference game.
