The West Valley volleyball team completed a season sweep of City College of San Francisco Wednesday night with a 25-10, 25-14, 25-19 win in The City. The sweep moved the Vikings (13-9, 6-4 Coast-North) to within a match of second place in the conference with two to play. Audrey Fernandez had a solid all-around match with 29 assists, eight digs, three blocks and two aces, while state kills-per-set leader Mapuhola Sekona knocked down a match-high 18 kills. Jenna Gomes had seven kills and Shannon Greene recorded four kills, three digs and two blocks. West Valley heads to Monterey Peninsula (7-8, 3-7) Friday (11/9) for a 6:30pm match.
