The #4 seed Santa Monica College Corsairs lost its bid to return for the second consecutive season to the California Community College State tournament.   Riverside City College came into Corsair Pavilion Saturday night and handed the Corsairs a 77-68 defeat.

The Corsairs had a cold shooting night which contributed heavily to the loss as they shot 31.9% from the field. 

The Corsairs 21-9 overall (10-4 in Western State Conference play) were led by Elias King.   King scored 29 points and had 6 rebounds.
