Women’s Soccer Routs Pasadena In Final Non-Conference Tuneup

PASADENA, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors women's soccer team defeated Pasadena City College on the road 5-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Robinson Stadium.

The Warriors head into South Coast Conference play with a 6-2-1 record.  

Allison Sibley led the Warriors with a brace.  Natalie Rodriguez and Tana Wynia both scored goals for the Warriors.  The El Camino offense also benefited from a Pasadena City own goal.  

The Warriors outshot the Lancers 18-to-5 for the game.

Pasadena City College took the lead in the 12th minute after a goal by Devin Zamora.

After the Lancer's opener, the Warriors would score five unanswered goals.  Natalie Rodriguez opened up the scoring for El Camino in the 29th minute.  Allison Sibley scored her first goal of the game in the 33rd minute.

Sibley opened up the second half with a goal in the 48th minute.  The Warriors would benefit from a Pasadena own goal in the 68th minute.  Tana Wynia put the final cap on the scoring in the 82nd minute with a blast from 25 yards out.

The Warriors open up conference play with a home game against Cerritos on Tuesday, October 4th.  Kick-off is set for 2:00 p.m.
