EL CAJON – The Grossmont College tennis team had another hard-fought match to begin the home schedule as they fell to Saddleback College 6-3. 

Kat Busani and Amy Linquist got a win at No. 1 doubles to set what the Griffins thought was going to be a good day. 

Busani kept the momentum going as she won at No. 1 singles. She was joined by Eli Capurro at No. 3 singles. 

The Griffins will head back to the practice courts to get ready for Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play when they host Imperial Valley on Thursday, Feb. 23.
