MEN'S SOCCER: THE TWO-TIME CHAMPS!

MEN'S SOCCER: THE TWO-TIME CHAMPS!

For the second consecutive season, the Fullerton College Hornets claim the Orange Empire Conference title outright after defeating Golden West 1-0 at home Friday.

In front of one of the largest crowds (over 500) in recent memory, the game was a flat-out battle as both the Hornets and Rustlers gave it all they had for a shot at the OEC title.

After a scoreless first half, Fullerton took advantage scoring the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute. A hard-driving Kentrell Dorsey took a shot that sailed past the GWC goal keeper for the game winner. The assist was credited to Alejandro Castillo.

The last half of the game tested the resilience of the Hornets as they were a man short after losing a player due to a penalty near Fullerton's goal. Fullerton held strong with 10 players avoiding a letdown winning the program's fourth conference title (1981, 1992, 2018, and 2019).

FC goalie Andres Ramirez was strong between the posts holding a tough Golden West team scoreless with 4 saves.

Up Next: The OEC Champs will wait and see what is in the SoCal Regional playoff cards this weekend.
