West Valley closed out the Coast Conference home schedule with a 7-2 win over Highway 17 rival Cabrillo Friday afternoon.The win gave the Vikings (10-4, 8-3 Coast) a season sweep of the Seahawks (3-9, 2-7) heading into the final week of the regular season.

A trio of Vikings recorded wins in both doubles and singles, highlighted by Abigail Prokter, who moved to 13-1 in singles competition in 2022.  Sonya Hu and Tal Volinsky also posted twin wins. West Valley celebrated Seraphina Vossen and Cabrillo's Gabby Gilson, both playing their final regular season match at WVC, in a pre-match ceremony, capped by a ceremonial first serve from the West Valley President.
