(Torrance, CA) – The Mt. SAC Beach Volleyball Team split a pair of matches Friday morning at the El Camino College sand courts.

Host El Camino blanked the Mounties, 5-0 in the first match in a South Coast Conference contest. The Mounties came back in the second match with a non-conference win over Santa Ana, 5-0.

Mt. SAC is now 8-6 overall and 1-4 in conference.

The Mounties will travel to Phoenix, AZ Friday and Saturday (4/5-6) and will play four university teams – Arizona Christian, Cal Poly SLO, University of Alabama Birmingham and Grand Canyon University.

They will return home and host their inaugural home match on the new Mt. SAC Beach Volleyball Courts Friday (4/12) at 9:00 am.
