East Los Angeles College Football begins its 2019 campaign tonight at 6pm as they play host to #13 Junior College/CCCSIA Preseason-ranked Cerritos College Falcons. The Huskies are looking to bounce back from last year's 4-6 record, and head coach Bobby Godinez believes in this season's group. "We have a great group of competitors this year," says Godinez. "We're looking forward to a very successful season."
The Huskies know the Falcons will provide a good early season test; there's even been whispers that Cerritos believes this season's team is their best ever. "They've got a great looking roster," observes Godinez. "They're going to be big and physical and well-coached. Should be a great game."
So then, what are the keys to ELAC earning the "W" tonight?
"Execution and no turnovers," says Coach.
