HORNETS STORM PAST THE CHARGERS: Fullerton hosted Cypress College Friday night containing the Chargers 88-70.
FC led the game from the start with a 12-1 run and maintained the lead throughout the game.
For the game, Fullerton out-shot Cypress 50.8% to 46.9%. FC also led under the boards 37-26 and 28-19 on points off of turnovers.
FC guard Jason Payne led all scorers with 26 points and Julian Caldwell followed with 20 points. Caldwell also delivered 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Tyler Payne had 11 points and Rufus Jemison had 9 points with 4 rebounds. Khalfani Williams put up 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
