Jeremy Moussa threw for 307 yards and six touchdowns as the San Bernardino Valley College football team bounced back from its loss to Riverside with a 59-14 victory over LA Southwest on Sept. 28.

The Wolverines scored just 1:08 into the game, as Moussa connected with Jorge Alvarado on a 44-yard pass play on a fourth-and-15 from the Southwest 44.

SBVC's defense came up big from there, as they made six tackles for losses on the Cougars' first drive, then Malik Wrencher put an end to the next drive with an interception and return to the Southwest 25. After an offside call against Southwest, Moussa tossed his second touchdown of the night, a 20-yard pass to Cobe Stribling and a 14-0 lead after Ben Falck's extra point.

Jaiden Roe followed that up with a 33-yard interception return and a 21-0 lead. The Wolverines had five interceptions in the game, with Jhalen Haynes picking off three of those passes. The defense was credited with five sacks and 13 tackles for losses in the game.

The Wolverines went up 42-0 before the Cougars got on the board with Deion Malone returning a kickoff 98 yards to make the game 42-7. Ben Falck hit a 34-yard field goal to send the Wolverines to the break up 45-7.

Moussa threw two more touchdown passes in the third quarter, before leaving the game for the Wolverines' final drive. Six different receivers scored on Moussa's six touchdown passes, with Koale Schroeder going on a 91-yard touchdown catch and run in the first half.

The game's fourth quarter was cut down to eight minutes, as tempers flared between the two teams in the second half. There were more than 300 yards in penalties accepted in the game, with Southwest marked off for 185 yards.
