The Falcons ran into a flame-throwing pitcher on Tuesday at Delta and all they could muster were two hits in a lopsided 8-0 five-inning loss to the Mustangs. Delta's Emma Anderson won her sixth game of the season with a dominating shutout. Emma Gaytan and Kaytlynn Jarquin were the only Falcons with hits against Anderson. The Falcons fell to 4-5 (5th place) in Big 8 play. They'll face Sac City (5-3) in a doubleheader on Saturday at Falcon Diamond.
