Compton, Calif. - Sophomore Riah Nunley knocked in a run and scored a run, but the Compton softball team fell 16-3 in five innings to Cerritos on Thursday afternoon for Sophomore Day.

Prior to the start of the game, sophomores Beatriz Herrera, Harmony McDowell, Riah Nunley, and Marlene Rodriguez were all honored before playing their last home game.

In the game, Nunley went 1-for-2 with a double, walk, RBI, and two runs in the contest. Herrera and McDowell both earned hits, while Rodriguez picked up a RBI.

The Tartars (14-24, 0-10) head to El Camino on Friday, Apr. 20 for a 1 p.m. makeup contest.
