GAME ONE
The Vaqueros (1-7) got their first run of the day in the top of the fourth inning. Left fielder Sarah Hammonds hit a double to right center and eventually made her way to third base. Facing two outs, shortstop Armani Garcia hit a single out to center, bringing Hammonds home to get her team on the board.

Santa Barbara had four hits as a team. Garcia also doubled in the second inning, finishing with a team-high two hits. Right fielder Isabella Huckaby hit a single to right center in the top of the fifth.

In the circle, pitcher Lauren Indermuehle started and tossed one strikeout before Hammonds closed the game out in the final two innings.
