Men's Soccer Comes Up Short Against the Eagles

Compton, Calif. - The Tartars (2-4-2) loss their home game against the LA Mission Eagles (1-4-2) 0-2.

Freshman Jonathon Nunez started as the Tartar's goalkeeper and had a total of 11 saves during the game. Freshman Milton Herrera came in to cover Nunez during the second half. Both goalies only allowed one goal each.

Freshman Edgar Gutierrez created three goal opportunities with four shots including 3 shots on goal. Sophomore Alfredo Trujillo followed closely behind with three shot opportunities all of which were shots on goal.  

The Tartars' next game is at home against College of the Sequoias on Friday, September 27 for a 3 p.m. start.
