Beach Volleyball Stays Undefeated, Sweeps Orange Coast College 5-0

TORRANCE, Calif. - The El Camino College beach volleyball had a good day on the sand, sweeping Orange Coast College 5-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Warriors ended all their matches in two sets to extend their undefeated streak to 6-0. On the No. 1's, Micah Hammond and Michelle Shimamoto faced Megan Ritchie and Jadelyn Forgiarini, winning their sets 21-11, 21-17. Aiko Waters and Kiana Takahashi dominated the fours, only allowing Enjelica Glattli and Alexandra Hayes seven points in each set (21-7, 21-7).

"I thought we played pretty well today," shared Coach Le Valley Pattison. "We have been working on passing and serving a lot. It all starts with ball control. I thought we passed a little better and we were a little more consistent with unforced errors. So it was a good win today."

The Warriors face Santa Ana College and Antelope Valley on Friday, March 10th at 10am and 12pm on the Warrior's sand court.
