Jane Liddle picked up a pair of wins against Cabrillo

The West Valley tennis team took advantage of a spring-like day in Aptos with a 6-3 win over Cabrillo Tuesday.
Jane Liddle and Olivia Ocher both picked up a pair of wins for the Vikings (4-4, 2-3 Coast). Liddle teamed with Katie Watts to take the #1 doubles match 8-6 over Stella Davidsdottir/Magdalena Sanchez and then dominated her #1 singles match against Davidsdottir 6-1, 6-0.
Ocher and Arlenne Quinones blanked Harleigh Doermann/Lexi Medeiros 8-0 in the #3 doubles, and then Ocher overwhelmed Doermann 6-1, 6-0 in their #4 singles match.
WVC's Abigail Salazar rallied past Mehgan Morekeski 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 in #5 singles and Sarai Sanchez defeated Seahawk Medeiros 6-2, 6-2 in their #6 singles match.
