Football Routs Chaffey in Final Road Game of Regular Season

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. --- El Camino College's offense exploded, particularly on the ground Saturday afternoon in a dominant 55-3 National Central Division tilt against Chaffey at Grigsby Field.

The Warriors (6-3, 2-2) picked up 529 yards of total offense including 303 yards rushing on the ground against the Panthers (0-9, 0-4).

Nine different players combined to put together the 303-yard rushing onslaught, led by Stephen Bradford Jr. with 12 carries for 99 yards and a 45-yard touchdown run. Brandyn Jordan only had seven carries for 35 yards but scored two touchdowns and quarterback Jahlil Sanders had a nine-yard touchdown run for his first score of his career.

Mehki Mercer and Michael Kielbasa led the team with five tackles apiece for a defense that had four sacks and three interceptions on the afternoon.

The Warriors will return to action on Saturday night at Murdock Stadium for the regular season finale with kickoff set for 6 p.m.
