Warriors Salvage Series Finale against Orange Coast College

COSTA MESA, Calif. - After dropping the Memorial Cup to OCC after the first two games, the Warriors got their frustrations out and smacked the Pirates 15-3 on Tuesday in the series finale at Orange Coast College.

The Warriors (1-2) led from the first inning and had a commanding 10-run lead before the Pirates scored their first run.

Jack Snyder picked up his first win of the season after tossing five scoreless frames with two hits, two walks, and five strikeouts.   

The Warriors pounded out 14 hits for the game.  Julio Camerena was 4-for-5 with 5 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Daniel Murilo was 4-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 1 run.  Brandon McAndrews was 2-for-4 with 2 runs and 1 RBI and Connor Meidroth was 2-for-4 with 3 runs. The Warriors also benefited from 5 errors committed by the Pirates defense.

The Warriors scored runs in all but the second and eighth inning in the win over the Pirates.

The Warriors head to Cypress to take on the Chargers on Thursday.
