Mustangs' depth is too much for the Falcons

The Delta Mustangs showed why they are the #2 ranked team in California with a convincing 83-53 win over the Falcons on Tuesday night in Folsom.  The Falcons opened the game with a strong defense and kept the score close through the first half of play (40-31 at halftime).  The Mustangs' depth, however, began to wear down the Falcons in the second half as they continually brought waves of talented players onto the floor.  The Falcons, with just seven players suited up, were simply outnumbered.  Freshman Delaney Keddie led the Falcons in scoring for the third straight game with 13 points.  Freshman Mo Peters tallied 12 points, while sophomore guard Shay Boley added 10.

The Falcons (12-8 overall, 3-3 in ig 8) will play at Sierra (13-5, 3-2) on Friday evening.
