The Long Beach City College Vikings fell to the Orange Coast College Pirates 4-0 on Thursday afternoon at the Vikings Baseball Field. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 8-3 overall.
Sophomore pitcher Sebastian Irwin (0-1) took the loss on the hill with allowing the Pirates to one run in four innings, while striking down one.
The Pirates were on the board in the top of the fourth innings with an RBI triple. Then proceeded to chip away at the Vikings and scored three more runs throughout the game to take home to 4-0 win.
The Vikings will return to the field on Saturday, Feb. 15 against Grossmont College at 1 p.m.
