Having spent most of September on the road - seven away games out of nine total - the West Valley women's soccer team ended the month with a 4-0 loss at state #9 Folsom Lake. The Vikings (2-8-0, 0-0-0 Coast South) fell behind the Falcons (6-0-2, 0-0-0 Big 8) 2-0 at the half and were unable to recover.
The WVC road show continues Tuesday (10/4) with a trip to Foothill (0-3-1, 0-0-0 Coast North). Kickoff is 4:00pm. WVC returns to Dick Schwendinger Field Friday (10/7) for the 2022 Coast Conference opener against City College of San Francisco (6-2-1, 0-0-0 CS) Friday's kickoff is 4pm.
