Vaqueros Suffer Home Sweep vs. Moorpark

SANTA BARBARA – The SBCC men's volleyball team was swept by Moorpark for a second time this season on Wednesday, this time at home, 25-14, 25-18, 25-21.

The Vaqueros (4-9, 2-6) got seven kills each from setter/opposite Toby Still and outside hitter Payton Miller. Opposite Isaac Marshall was second on the team with six kills while Moorpark's Dakota Deuter led all players with 12.

Setter Carter Cottrell (31 assists) went over 30 assists for the third time this season. He also had five digs.

Libero Jackson Dupler finished with a match-high 13 digs. Kevin Vonyokes and Tobias Murphree teamed up for SBCC's only block.

Santa Barbara will have two more home matches this month, starting with Long Beach on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
