The MSJC women's softball team has begun their 2022 campaign, as they have hit the field this season for five games so far.

The Eagles started the year at Santa Ana College on January 27th and came up short against the Dons 8-0.  MSJC hosted their first home games of the season on Saturday February 5th and dropped a pair of games to Palomar 12-0 and 9-0.

The Eagles took the field on Wednesday and came up short in two games at San Diego Mesa 11-3 and 16-12.  In Wednesday's second game of the doubleheader Veronika Prado had a big game as she collected 4 hits and drove in 3 runs for the Eagles.  Emma Bustos and Amy Perrault drove in 2 runs a piece for MSJC as the team collected a season high 14 hits.  Alexis Aldridge, Chelsi Washburn, and Ariana Castellon all added an RBI in the game.  In the first game at Mesa the Eagles' lone RBI was recorded by Jasmine Barerras.

The Eagles are right back in action today (2/11) as they travel to LA Valley for a doubleheader with the first game starting at 12:30.  After a trip to Citrus on Tuesday the 15th for a 2:30 game against the Owls, MSJC will open Inland Empire Athletic Conference play with a home doubleheader against Chaffey on Friday the 18th.  First pitch at Menifee next Friday is set for noon.
