MONTEREY PARK, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors won their fourth South Coast Conference series in a row after defeating East Los Angeles 5-0 on the road on Wednesday.

The game originally scheduled for Thursday night was moved to Wednesday afternoon because of inclement weather.

The Warriors (16-6, 10-1) have won eight games in a row and eleven of their last twelve games.

Julian Aguiar pitched eight shutout innings and picked up his fifth win of the season.  Aguiar allowed only four hits, two walks, and fanned six batters. Joey Acosta pitched the last inning and struck out two batters in his one inning of work.

Bobby Banuelos took the loss for the Huskies (4-17, 1-7) after allowing three runs in four innings.

The Warriors had eight hits for the game with Jimmy Galicia and Aaron Orozco as the only Warriors with multi-hit games.  Jimmy Galicia was 2-for-4 and Aaron Orozco was 2-for-3 with three runs. Juan Carlos Camarena was 1-for-3 with three RBIs.

The Warriors got the scoring done first in the second inning.  Aaron Orozco and Neil Feist both had singles. Camarena tripled to left field to bring in both runners to make it 2-0.

The Warriors added one  run in the fourth inning.  Aaron Orozco led the inning off with a base hit.  Neil Feist walked and Juan Carlos Camarena was hit by a pitch to load the bases.  The Warriors scored one run on a fielder's choice by Julian Diaz.

In the sixth inning, Orozco once again led the inning off by getting on base via a hit by pitch.  Chris Villavicencio tripled to center field to score Orozco. Villavicencio eventually came around to score on a Camarena ground out to make it a 5-0 game.

The Warriors will look to complete their third series sweep in a row on Saturday.  First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 PM, weather permitting.
