Irvine Valley's women's soccer team ended its 2019 season with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the top team in the Orange Empire Conference.

Cypress, ranked No. 4 in the state, improved its record to 17-0-3 overall and 11-0-3 in the conference with the win.

Irvine Valley finished its year with a record of 5-14-3 overall and 2-11-1 in conference.

The Lasers were in the game early on.

Cypress opened the scoring with a goal by Morgan Patea in the eighth minute.

And then Cypress added four goals in the second half to put the game away.

Audree Campos scored in the 54th minute to make it 3-1.

Patea scored her second goal in the 57th minute and then Forester picked up a hat trick with goals in the 61st and 72nd minutes.
