Ashley Dart led the way with a powerful drive from 25 yards that cannoned back off the cross bar around the 30 minute mark. Ceci Roghair was on hand to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead which they took in to the break.
Five minutes after half-time, the Hawks scored again. Gigi Soto linked with Hannah Roskelly who hit a hard, low left-footed drive from the top of the box. Brianna Diaz stepped in to lift the ball over the keeper for the score. SCC continued to search for the third as the entire squad looked to get in on the action. Emily Diplock preserved the shut-out in goal for the Hawks.
Next up is a road trip to Fullerton College who have had a bright start to the 2019 season. Kick-off is at 3pm on Tuesday, October 15th. Thanks to all those who faced the winds to cheer on the Hawks today.
