Moorpark College women's basketball coach Kenny Plummer knows how to win. He also knows how to celebrate.
Plummer - with the basketball net draped around his neck - danced with his players after a 78-71 home win in the CCCAA SoCal Regional playoffs Saturday night.
The victory advances the Raiders (24-3) to the CCCAA State Tournament (Elite Eight) where they'll play the No. 3 seed from Northern California, Sierra College, at West Hills College Lemoore Thursday night at 3 p.m.
Ashley Orozco had game-high 28 points with six points and six rebounds. Kaydn Mew added 22 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
The winner of Thursday's game will advance to the Final Four and take on the winner of South No. 1 Mt. San Antonio and North No. 4 College of the Sequoias on Saturday.
