The state-ranked No. 1 Long Beach City College men's water polo team defeated the Cerritos College Falcons 13-10. With the win, the Vikings hold on to their 24-1 overall record and remain undefeated in the South Coast Conference with 5-0 record.
Sophomore attacker Vedran Latkovic led the Vikings with four goals, had two assists, two field blocks, and drew two Falcon ejections. During the game, freshman attacker Cameron Frazier set up four Vikings' goals with four assists.
Freshman center Jose Barajas and freshman attacker Austin Peterson both helped seal the Vikings conference victory by drawing seven Falcon ejections each.
The No. 1 Vikings will return to action in the pool on Sunday, Nov. 3 at Long Beach State at 3 p.m.
